The Premise

Full Court Heroes is a 5-on-5 basketball game currenly being developed for PC and Steam Deck that is a cross between arcade and simulation basketball, reminding you of the 8 and 16-bit era games you loved but with added modern features and quality of life enhancements. Leave your all on the floor and lead your team to a title or build a dynasty to last years in the franchise mode. Fast-paced game play, detailed stats, franchise mode, fully-customizable rosters, and much more!

Gameplay

There will be several game modes available. These include exhibition games, franchise mode through multiple seasons, tournament mode, and more. There will be single player options, local and online multiplayer.

Why make this game?

I have many great memories from my childhood playing sports games such as Baseball Stars on the NES. I loved the simple but good gameplay and all of the ability to customize your team, play multiple seasons, and build your franchise. I wished there was a basketball game that was accessible, had all of the same customization features and more, multiplayer mode, and not pay-to-win at all. So, I set out to create it.

When will the game be released?

I have been working on this game since November 2022. My hope is to release by late summer 2024. I am considering releasing in Early Access on Steam, but I want to make sure that core gameplay is pretty solid before doing that. I am hoping to have a free public demo of gameplay available in the very near future.
